Zero Electric Motorcycle Sets a 24-Hour Distance Record
A Zero motorcycle covered more than 1,000 miles in 24 hours. An impressive result, although recharging stops put the achievement into perspective.
A Zero electric motorcycle set a new record by covering more than 1,000 miles, or about 1,609 kilometers, within 24 hours. The test highlights the potential of battery-powered motorcycles for long-distance riding.
However, the record was not achieved on a single charge: the motorcycle stopped several times to replenish its energy. The result should therefore be considered a distance and endurance achievement, rather than a new benchmark for electric range.
