A Zero motorcycle has established a new distance record, although the result was achieved under highly favorable test conditions.

A Zero electric motorcycle covered 271 miles, or around 436 kilometers, on a single charge: a result presented as a new world record for the distance traveled by a battery-powered two-wheeler.
The figure should nevertheless be viewed cautiously. The test took place in controlled conditions and used an efficiency-focused riding style, very different from everyday use or highway travel. The achievement highlights the technology’s potential, but does not represent the range normally available on public roads.
