The Alpine A390 is a five-seat electric crossover that brings the French brand’s sporting philosophy into a more practical format. The most powerful version uses three motors and produces 470bhp, while its 89kWh battery offers a range of around 555km.
On the road, the A390 impresses with accurate steering, well-controlled body movements and strong corner-exit acceleration. Its weight is still noticeable and it cannot match the involvement of the A110, but comfort, handling and versatility make it a convincing electric SUV.
