Hyundai Inster, the test of the compact EV challenging the Renault 5
City-friendly dimensions, a surprisingly spacious cabin and up to 370 km of range: the Inster focuses on practicality.
The Hyundai Inster enters testing aiming to carve out a place among compact electric cars. Less than four metres long, it combines distinctive styling with a cabin that is more usable than its dimensions suggest. The sliding rear bench improves versatility, while the raised driving position adds practicality.
Its 49 kWh battery delivers up to 370 km under the WLTP cycle, and the 115 hp motor provides suitable urban performance. The Inster is agile, comfortable and easy to drive, although the Renault 5 remains more engaging on twisty roads.
